Rho Omicron Zeta Chapter was chartered on Saturday, January 1, 2000 by five ambitious women. They are:

Simone S. Safford

Miriam A. Sanni

Since its establishment, the chapter has diligently serviced the Staten Island community with numerous workshops and programs designed to enhance the quality of life of Staten Island residents.

The chapter has left virtually no field of service endeavor untapped. Its “boots on the ground” style of charity has always been larger than its size. The chapter has volunteered untotaled hours to many avenues of civic engagement, health and educational workshops. The chapter continues to make monetary donations to several organizations aligned with her mission.
